  • Found a gem 💎 here. Had a little road trip up north , we are spoit for choice for top quality carribean food in London however this little place Mo'Bay was a great find. The owner looked after us and she gave us a sample of her award winning rum punch. It was so good I bought bottle. The food was amazing and the tunes set the atmosphere....couldn't leave with just a bottle of rum punch so had to bring some stew chicken back down south. Irie 🫶🏻

  • I visited Mo'Bay Shack on a cold November afternoon. Just a few cosy tables but lovely & warm. Lorraine was so lovely and friendly I felt like we had been invited to someone's home for dinner.. the food was exquisite with generous portions, lovely spices, we were really looked after, I only wish I could pick this restaurant up and bring to West Yorkshire.. this will be our regular when we visit Liverpool in the the future..well done Lorraine...

  • The Mo ‘Bay Shack is Liverpool’s hidden jam. It’s by far the best relaxing Jamaican warmly homely food you’ll ever taste. I have to say it’s the friendliest place that I’ve been to and I am visiting from Australia. I would recommend this to everybody. You’ve got to try it.

  • This place really is superb. We ate curry goat and brown stew and both were delicious. The goat was tender, full of flavour and had no fat or bones. It came with loads of sauce, as did the brown stew, which featured very tasty chicken thigh. Both dishes came with generous quantities of rice and peas and steamed vegetables. We also ordered sides of plantain which were also delicious.


    Prices were reasonable, service was excellent and even the music was great: oldies from Dennis Brown. 100% recommended!
